| Brief description of the crash | Already in the early morning, the JU 88A 7A+BH was sent to make a reconnaissance of the area of Brussel, Kortrijk, Gent and Antwerpen. The twin engine Junker 88A was intercept over Sint-Laureins (Belgium) around 06:00 hour by an early morning patrol of a section Hurricanes of 615 squadron. After been hit the Junkers was in fire and crashed, after dropped his four bombs, in the heading of Sint-Kruis (Netherlands). The bodies were - unrecognizable maimed - found, scattered on the arable land area. |
